Before I started Strubel Investment Management, I searched for a firm that would allow me truly to help clients build their wealth rather than using their portfolio to generate commissions. I investigated insurance companies, big name Wall Street brokerages (what few there are), and even independent broker/dealers. All of them are riddled with practices that are bad for clients but good for the firm. The only way I could realize my dream of providing high quality independent investment management service was to start my own firm.
