FEE ONLY

We charge a fee based on the amount of assets you have under management. This way our interests are aligned with yours. We only make more money when you make more money. We have no reason to churn your portfolio to generate commissions or to sell you expensive products that pay us more.

NO CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

We act as fiduciary, which means that we must put your interests before ours. Most brokers and representatives are held only to a suitability standard. That means if an investment isn’t the best but still OK (i.e. suitable) and selling it gets them a free trip to Hawaii, they can push it as hard as they want.

INDEPENDENT

We have no pressure to sell preferred products or prepackaged solutions. We do not accept commissions, kickbacks, soft dollar gifts, or any other payments from any third party. We simply offer you the best advice we can without any outside influence.

NO-NONSENSE EASY-TO-UNDERSTAND APPROACH

We explain everything we do in easy-to-understand language. If you don’t understand something, you may call us anytime and we will be happy to explain it. I love talking shop with clients about investment decisions.

We promise we will never tell you an investment is too complicated to understand. If your advisor can’t explain where he or she is putting your money, maybe it shouldn’t be there. No investment or strategy should ever be too complicated to explain.
